Ophthalmology (EYE)

The fourth and fifth-year MBBS students can receive training from the Department of Ophthalmology. The course’s goal is to deliver education based on need in order to generate competent medical professionals who can

• Identifier common eye conditions.
• Recognize, treat, and appropriately refer cases of ocular emergencies.
• Take the lead in primary eye care both domestically and internationally.

Patients at Monno Medical College & Hospital can receive both basic and specialized eye care services from the department of ophthalmology. For a broad range of eye issues, our skilled and knowledgeable consultant offers specialized care. Ophthalmology-lab Ophthalmology Specialized equipment, such as computerized visual field analyses for glaucoma assessment and argon lasers for diabetic eye diseases. With training in optometry, our consultant assists with adult and pediatric eyeglass prescriptions. More than 90% of the surgeries don’t necessitate hospitalization, and all are performed in the hospital’s cutting-edge operating rooms. A phaco-emulsification machine for small-incision cataract surgery is available in the theater.
